Buckeye State Credit Union has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and working to protect our employees, members and communities.
Unfortunately, we learned late in the evening of March 31st, 2020 that an employee working at our Alliance office had tested positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus). It has been over a week since the employee last reported to work before seeking medical consultation from a physician. Our thoughts are with the employee and their family members. We have instructed the remaining staff of the Alliance office to begin to self-quarantine at home, thus you may see some new faces at Alliance that have come from other locations to help during this time. We have also identified potential members who interacted with the employee from the last date of work to fourteen days prior. These members have been personally contacted by a member of the Buckeye State Credit Union team.
We continue to enhance our sanitizing regimen at our branch offices and have taken additional steps to reduce further exposure by conducting extensive sterilization of the individual’s workstation and surrounding areas in the building. We are working with health officials, as well as continuing our adherence to CDC-recommended guidelines which include remote working and social distancing.
We have implemented plans to minimize any business disruptions and the potential impact to our employees, members, and communities. During this time, we’d like to remind all members of the many remote banking options we have available via online banking, mobile banking, ATM locations, night drops, and our drive-thru locations.
