Appreciate NOW is more than just a couple words. It’s a mindset. We often go through our workday, our personal lives, and get so busy we forget to pause and take a moment to think about the world and people around us. This doesn’t exclusively have to relate to the business world. In fact, the concept of Appreciate NOW is much greater than that. It’s about people. Everyone around us. Sure, it could be a co-worker, a customer (member) during business hours, a family member, but more importantly it’s about ALL the people around us, seen or unseen, during our daily travels through life. It’s that person you speak with on the phone at your financial institution, the cashier when you’re in line at the grocery store or even someone you’re sitting next to at the bus stop in the morning. It’s about EVERYONE.
Life isn’t easy. We all go through struggles during our work and personal lives. We sometimes feel stressed about one situation or another.
NOW is the time to take a deep breath.
NOW look to who’s “next” to you.
Your day might not be going as planned, but their day could be even worse, and you would never know.
If someone you know, or perhaps don’t know at all, came up to you and said, “Hey, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you,” what would you say? One thing I can bet is that your response would probably be given with a smile on your face.
NOW it’s YOUR turn to give it a try.
Tag someone on social media or walk up to a friend, co-worker, family member or stranger with the concept of #appreciatenow and let’s try to spread some love, caring and sincerity around us.
